As for the dress, the saffron color is commonly associated with traditional Sikh aesthetics, although as far as I know the Sri Guru Granth Sahib (Sikh Holy Text) often associates the color with itinerant Hindu ascetics. As such: "Some wander around in saffron robes, but without the True Guru, no one finds the Lord."
